Registration to prescribe issued from the Department of Public Health Federal DEA Number Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration APRN in Psychiatry or RNCS Under the direct supervision of the Medical Director provides medication management to patients in the Outpatient Mental DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prescribes medication to patients referred by the Medical Director or physician designee after patient has received a psychopharmacology with Medical Director or other physician designee weekly to review cases and receive all emergencies related to patients receiving medication to Medical Director that all medication orders and discharge summaries are countersigned by the Medical Director or physician current licensed status. Adapts to new developments in field through continuing education. Provides documentation of continuing education effectively in regular group supervision in monthly staff meetings and in quality improvement Clinical and administrative meetings as other responsibilities at the request of the Medical Director or the Director of Outpatient Mental confidentiality of patients understanding of departments safety and infection control policies.
