Job Summary: The Graphic Designer creates visually compelling and brandaligned graphics that support marketing campaigns institutional branding and student engagement initiatives. This role focuses on the institutions visual representation and ensures consistency in design across all platforms including print materials digital media social content and promotional assets. The ideal candidate has a strong creative flair excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Visual Design & Brand Development
Design print and digital marketing materials including brochures flyers banners posters and event materials.
Develop visually engaging content for social media platforms in collaboration with the Content & Social Media Specialist.
Ensure all designs adhere to the institution s brand guidelines visual identity and tone.
Create templates and graphics for email campaigns presentations and the institutional website.
2. Digital Media & Multimedia Design
Design infographics animations and visual assets for digital campaigns and online platforms.
Collaborate with videographers and photographers to integrate visual content into videos and multimedia projects.
Optimize graphics for web and mobile platforms to ensure highquality user experiences.
3. Collaboration & CrossDepartmental Support
Work closely with the Copywriter to combine compelling text with impactful visuals in marketing materials.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Officer to create ad creatives for paid digital campaigns.
Support the Communication & Media Relations Officer by designing materials for press kits reports and media publications.
4. Design Project Management
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines and deliverables align with project objectives.
Maintain an organized library of design assets templates and visual resources.
Stay updated on design trends and tools to ensure fresh innovative visual content.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts Digital Media or a related field.
Experience: 35 years in graphic design preferably in higher education or healthcare marketing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign After Effects) and design tools like Canva Figma or Sketch.
Strong understanding of typography color theory layout design and visual hierarchy.
Experience in creating printready and digital assets.
Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and adherence to brand standards.
