Technical Advisor

Serve as a technical resource to MOH and other national and regional partners to enhance country-level preparedness for detecting and reporting emerging respiratory disease threats.

Support MOH in development and implementation of plans to sustain enhanced COVID surveillance for ongoing pandemic response while transitioning to sustainable long-term approaches for integrated disease surveillance in alignment with national and regional plans.

Provide technical assistance to MOH and other key stakeholders to assess gaps, barriers, and opportunities to strengthen integrated surveillance for COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases.

Review, assess, and facilitate the development of policies, plans, and standard operating procedures.

Develop and implement training materials for surveillance, laboratory, and other technical personnel.
