- Be able to perform all BIM Architect Coordinator responsibilities.
- Assist the Design/BIM Manager in preparing BIM Guidelines for the project-specific requirements.
- Assist the Design/BIM Manager in training of the project personnel in the use of BIM tools.
- Assist BIM Manager with planning and scheduling
- Understand contractual and legal guidelines.
- Identify conflicts, incomplete, or ambiguous design information.
- Coordinate with BIM service providers and subcontractors.
- Responsible as Model Administrator for the assigned project.
- Assist the Design team to compile contract BIM closeout documentation.
- Manage Model Change Control.
- Define scopes of work, evaluate site problems, and issue RFIs.
- Prepare and maintain submittal logs and expediting logs for BIM models.
- Lead meetings with lead BIM technicians and project BIM teams
- Assemble composite construction model for coordination meetings
- Facilitate the use of composite trade model in construction coordination/clash detection meetings and generate detection reports be identification and resolution of all hard and soft collisions within the BIM Model(S)
