Network Supervisor

Job Description

• Perform troubleshoot and resolve complicated communication network systems.
• Provide technical support to company and assist in proper usage of computer networks.
• Supervise software installation tools, improve and update software package.
• Coordinate with management board to formulate budgetary plans and ensure upkeep of equipment has and write RFP.
• Ensure compliance to all computer application process and related programs.
• Maintain IT based technology and recommend improvement to technological devices.
• Train workers and perform proper assessment tests on it.
• Monitor and manage the network performance, security reliability, and accessibility; develop, enforce and maintain network security policies and practices; monitor LAN and WAN bandwidth and performance.
• Supervise and direct the maintenance of the organization's wide area network.
• Communicate official networking information technology plans, policies, and procedures to staff, vendors, and customers.
• Configure users, install, and configure administrative applications on the wide area network.
• Ability to monitor the VMware platform and Veeam software backup solution

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a network administrator role
• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
• Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training
• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
