Presser Laundry

PRESSER LAUNDRY:

We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Presser for our laundry facility in Cairo Egypt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring garments and linens are pressed to the highest standards maintaining a neat and professional appearance for our customers.

• Operate and maintain various pressing equipment including steam presses irons and folding machines
• Inspect garments for stains damages or imperfections before and after pressing
• Press a wide variety of fabrics and garment types adhering to specific care instructions
• Fold and package pressed items neatly for customer pickup or delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet daily production quotas while ensuring quality standards are met
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in operating pressing equipment and tools
• Thorough knowledge of fabric types and appropriate care methods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Previous experience in laundry or dry cleaning services preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work in Cairo Egypt

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps.
