Job Title: Business Architect

Location: Qatar

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to develop and refine business architecture frameworks aligning organizational goals with technology and data strategies. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements ensure seamless enterprise integration and design futurestate architectures that enable transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Architecture Development:

   • Analyze and document currentstate business processes services and organizational structures.

   • Develop futurestate business architecture including services policies strategies and performance indicators.

   • Conduct gap analyses and design transition roadmaps to achieve the desired state.

   • Collaborate with domain specialists to align their work with enterprise architecture.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

   • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.

   • Facilitate workshops and discussions to define priorities align objectives and clarify dependencies.

   • Ensure stakeholder needs are accurately represented in business architecture designs.

3. Governance and Standards:

   • Establish and enforce business architecture standards and methodologies.

   • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies strategies and frameworks.

   • Support the input and validation of business architecture components within enterprise architecture tools.

   • Adopt bestpractice business process classification frameworks.

4. Business Process Optimization:

   • Apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

   • Support technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and scalability.

   • Model business processes using BPMN or UML for clarity and alignment.

5. Integration with Enterprise Architecture:

   • Collaborate with application data and infrastructure architects for seamless integration.

   • Ensure accurate representation of business architecture components in enterprise tools such as Orbus iServer.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Document business architecture components including processes services and performance metrics.

   • Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

   • Maintain an uptodate repository of business architecture components.

7. Strategic Alignment:

   • Align business architecture initiatives with organizational goals.

   • Identify areas for innovation and propose strategies for enhanced performance.

Skills and Requirements:

• Education: University degree in Business Administration Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience: 5 years in business architecture or related roles with experience in largescale transformation or publicsector projects. Local Qatar knowledge is a plus.

• Certifications: TOGAF certification is a plus. Additional certifications such as CBAP BPMN Lean Six Sigma Zachman or DAMA are desirable.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BPMN UML Orbus iServer Sparx EA or Aris. Ability to design target operating models and transition roadmaps.

• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills strong analytical and problemsolving abilities leadership and team collaboration.

• Language: Arabic native speaker with proficiency in English.

• Tools and Methodologies: Experience with business architecture modeling tools Agile and Waterfall project management. Knowledge of Qatar Enterprise Architecture (GEA) is a plus.

Operating Environment:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including application and data architects.

• Work in a fastpaced dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

• Frequent external stakeholder meetings and workshops are expected.
