Supply management:
Procure materials and ensuring they meet quality standards costeffective and from reliable suppliers.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve optimal procurement costs.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain appropriate balancing supply and demand effectively.
Stock Management:
Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies for resolution.
Utilize inventory data analysis techniques to forecast demand accurately adjusting procurement plans accordingly to meet customer needs.
In general:
Create the company s supply chain strategy
Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and ensuring reliable supply chain performance.
Address any supplier performance issues promptly implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement initiatives and costsaving strategies driving efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Engage with sales and production teams to understand demand patterns and develop demand plans based on market trends and customer requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and fill rates to assess supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks forklifts)
Train and guide employees
Find costeffective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery accidents)
Requirements
Bachelors degree in relevant field (Foreign trade Business administration
Proven experience in Metal Supply preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven experience in Importexport
Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM) or any relevant preferable
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Attention to detail
Creative problemsolving
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Foreign trade, Business administration, Proven experience in Metal Supply, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven experience in Import-export Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM) or any relevant preferable Excellent organizational and project management skills Attention to detail Creative problem-solving
