Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver highquality DT lessons in line with the schools curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and critical thinking.
• Monitor and assess student progress providing timely feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the DT curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance behaviour and academic performance.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings professional development sessions and extracurricular activities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Prior experience teaching Design and Technology.
• Excellent knowledge of current educational trends and practices in DT education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom and cater to individual student needs.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in DT teaching.
