Software Quality Assurance Engineer SWQA

1. Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for software validation and verification activities.
2. Conduct functional regression integration and system testing of software products to ensure compliance with requirements and quality standards.
3. Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using CANOE (CAPL) for testing Controller Area Network (CAN) communication protocols.
4. Perform SoftwareintheLoop (SIL) and HardwareintheLoop (HIL) testing to validate embedded software functionality in realtime environments.
5. Analyze test results identify defects and track issues to closure using defect tracking tools.
6. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including development engineers system architects and project managers to drive continuous improvement in software quality processes.
7. Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to ensure testability and traceability of software requirements.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QA engineers and support them in test execution and defect analysis.
9. Stay updated with industry best practices emerging technologies and tools in software quality assurance and contribute to process improvements.
10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on test progress issues and risks.

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 6 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 6 years of relevant experience in automotive or embedded systems domain.
3. Proficiency in CAN (Controller Area Network) communication protocols and experience with tools like CANOE.
4. Strong experience in developing and executing test scripts using CAPL (CAN Access Programming Language).
5. Handson experience in SoftwareintheLoop (SIL) and HardwareintheLoop (HIL) testing methodologies.
6. Solid understanding of automotive embedded software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
7. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for regression testing.
8. Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
10. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
