Linux Support & Configuration Engineering
Experience 10 Years
Location Qatar
Duration Long Term
A Linux Support & Configuration Engineer specialist who installs configures and maintains Linux operating systems knowledgeable about Storage area network. Set up and configurations for network database and high availability cluster services.
Configure and install of OpenShift and Container platforms
Performance tuning
Linux Systems administration and Automations of day to day tasks
Manage support and maintain Linux installed systems.
Install upgrade and maintain Linux based systems.
Ensure and enforce security on Linux systems and data
Manage system backups restore and recovery.
Manage user accounts groups and services.
Manage and maintain storage.
Work with users to resolve account/system issues.
Provide support on all Linux applications and UNIX based applications.
Assist with Linux server administration tasks.
Engage in continuous testing of new Linux versions and applications on an ondemand basis.
Plan for the systems upgrade and change control.
Install and maintain servers.
Help automate server maintenance including running scripts and automated processes.
Maintain server uptime and network performance.
Documentations of servers changes and upgrade plans
Maintain server security and implementation.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
10 years of Linux System Administration experience
Experience with Open shift Container and Virtualizations
Experience with Linux system architecture
Experience with Linuxbased VPN clients firewalls intrusion detection systems filesystems and authentication
Experience with Linux different flavors
