US General Accounting Professional

Job description:

The General Accounting Professional plays a vital role in the daytoday accounting operations of the business. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills for problem solving and resolution of issues. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time is required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare financial statements and analysis
• Analyze financial reports
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the monthend close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Payroll processing
• Prepare financial reports for taxes regulatory agencies and stockholders
• Maintain account balances and bank statements
• Manage general ledger and assist monthend/yearend close processes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications:

• 4 years of professional US accounting experience
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Business Administration major in Accountancy or any Accounting related courses
• Knowledge of different accounting software such as Quickbooks online Netsuite or Sage Intacct preferred
• CPA preferred
