Head of Development

TechBiz Global GmbH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Development to lead our Engineering department. As the Head of Development you will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of all development projects within the organization.

Tasks

• Define the product strategy together with CEO & CTO of the company.
• Implement the product strategy and roadmap ensuring alignment with the companys
  vision and market demands.
• Lead crossfunctional teams across development research product management and
  design to deliver highquality product features on time and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts and consulting to ensure our products
  exceed industry compliance standards and address realworld security challenges.
• Provide technical advice and solutions with handson approach for selected customer
  projects
• Conduct market research proactively gather customer insights and analyze competitive
  landscapes to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team encouraging creative problemsolving and
  experimentation with new technologies and methodologies.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to support launch
  marketing and postlaunch analysis.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure product success and inform future development
  strategies.
• Translate technical roadmap progress features into customer value & benefits to enable
  target group specific communication for sales and marketing
• Ensure effective communication between the product development sales and
  marketing teams to achieve business goals.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Handson knowledge of software development scripting and prototyping
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles standards and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage product development cycles and understand technical challenges.
• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking with the capability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
• Proficient in agile development methodologies and familiar with leading project management tools.
