Project Manager

Position: Project Manager

Report to: General Manager

Industry: Agriculture

Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia (often travel to Kampong Thom Province)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage endtoend cashew nut cultivation projects ensuring successful implementation from planning to Farmer and Factories.
• Develop and execute project plans including budgeting resource allocation and timelines to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Coordinate with agricultural experts farmers and stakeholders to optimize cultivation practices and improve yield quality and quantity.
• Monitor and evaluate project progress identifying and addressing potential challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and oversee procurement processes for necessary agricultural inputs equipment and materials.
• Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in cashew nut cultivation adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to onsite teams fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local communities government agencies and other stakeholders to facilitate project support and compliance.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess crop conditions identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status key performance indicators and budget utilization to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing agricultural projects with a focus on cashew nut cultivation.
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices pest control irrigation and soil management specific to cashew nut farming.
• Excellent project management skills including planning budgeting and resource allocation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability standards in agriculture.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with local and international regulations related to cashew nut agriculture.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and project management tools.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Agriculture Agronomy or a related filed advanced degree preferred

Working Hours:

• Mon Fri: 8:00 am 5:00 pm
