Staff Nurse - Lactation Consultant Hindi Speaker

Our client a premier medical facility is currently looking for a Staff Nurse Lactation Consultant to be based in Eastern Province Saudi Arabia. For this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive lactation assessments of breastfeeding mothers and infants evaluating latch milk transfer breastfeeding positioning and maternalinfant bonding utilizing evidencebased assessment tools and clinical judgment.
  
• Provide individualized lactation education counseling and support to breastfeeding mothers and their families addressing common breastfeeding concerns promoting breastfeeding techniques and offering guidance on milk supply management nipple care and infant feeding cues.
  
• Collaborate with obstetricians pediatricians midwives and other healthcare providers to develop and implement breastfeeding care plans tailored to the unique needs of each motherinfant dyad including preterm infants multiples and infants with special healthcare needs.
  
• Assist mothers with initiating breastfeeding within the first hour of birth facilitating skintoskin contact and promoting the establishment of the breastfeeding relationship during the early postpartum period.
  
• Educate healthcare staff and community partners about breastfeeding best practices evidencebased lactation care and the role of the lactation consultant in promoting breastfeedingfriendly environments.
  
• Conduct prenatal breastfeeding classes postpartum breastfeeding support groups and community breastfeeding education sessions to promote breastfeeding awareness empower mothers with accurate information and foster peer support networks.
  
• Assess and manage common lactationrelated issues such as engorgement mastitis nipple pain inadequate milk supply and infant oral anomalies providing timely interventions and referrals as needed to optimize breastfeeding outcomes.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of lactation assessments interventions and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
  
• Stay informed about current research guidelines and best practices in lactation management attending continuing education seminars workshops and conferences to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  
• Advocate for breastfeedingfriendly policies practices and resources within healthcare facilities community organizations and public health initiatives promoting breastfeeding as the optimal infant feeding choice for maternalchild health and wellbeing.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.
  
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Nursing.
  
• 2 years experience in Lactation Consultant.
  
• Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
  
• Preferably with valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist/Technician license/certificate.
  
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
  
• Proficient in English
