Role Description

The Client is seeking a fulltime Personal Injury Attorney for our office in North Charleston SC. As a Personal Injury Attorney you will be responsible for representing clients who have suffered injuries as a result of accidents caused by others. You will counsel and represent clients in all aspects of their personal injury claims including conducting legal research drafting pleadings motions and discovery attending hearings and negotiating settlements. Ensures that project department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Manages a team of personal injury paralegals legal assistants case managers litigation paralegals and legal secretary.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law
• Proven experience in all aspects of personal injury case management from initial intake to trial
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively advocate for clients
• Solid understanding of medical terminology injuries and treatment
• Ability to work independently and manage a highvolume caseload
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal software
