Remote but must work PST hours

Summary :
Resource to be Responsible for managing and maintaining the BSCs Tableau platform ensuring its performance security and availability. Provide support and training to our Tableau users helping them create and share data visualizations that drive business insights.
Responsibilities:
Install configure and upgrade Tableau software and server components
Monitor and optimize Tableau server performance availability and capacity
Troubleshoot and resolve Tableaurelated issues such as data access dashboard loading etc.
Manage user access and permissions ensuring compliance with data governance policies and best practices
Create and maintain backup and recovery plans for Tableau data and workbooks
Provide technical support and guidance to Tableau users including creating and editing SQL queries data sources and calculated fields
Collaborate with data engineers analysts and other stakeholders to ensure data quality accuracy and availability
Develop and document Tableau administration processes standards and best practices
Stay updated on Tableau features enhancements and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field
8 years of experience as a Tableau administrator or developer
Proficient in Tableau Desktop and Server including installation configuration administration and troubleshooting
Experience with SQL data modeling and data visualization techniques
Knowledge of data governance security and privacy principles and practices
Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certification in Tableau or related technologies is a plus
