Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design functionality and maintenance of products equipment systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and standards.

Job Responsibilities:
Develops physical measurement methods and vision system equipment to perform device testing and/or inspections in R&D bench testing and manufacturing.
Devises and executes characterization studies to evaluate device performance and quantify process outputs.
Determines visual criteria through engineering studies and implements in manufacturing through technical documentation work instruction and attribute test method validation.
Devises and executes test method validation activities including equipment qualification test fixture design and qualification software validation GR&R etc.
Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.
May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
May specialize in areas of quality control engineering such as design process control product evaluation metrology automated testing software research and development and administrative application.
Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials product or process quality and reliability.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawing schematics and computergenerated reports.
Technical writing proficiency.
Computer applications and software skills related to engineering field such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) and statistical analysis software.
Experience in working with and developing machine vision systems preferred.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering required.
24 years experience required.
