Accounting Assistant for Hospitality

Location: Dania Beach Florida USA

We are currently looking for a hotel accounting assistant to join our team at a hotel located in Dania Beach. This position is full time salary: $ 19 to $ 20 per hour more benefits.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the hotel accounting department.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform general clerical and administrative tasks including filing data entry and document organization.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and distribution.
• Prepare financial reports statements and summaries as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Respond to inquiries from hotel staff vendors and guests regarding financial matters.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes.
• Provide support to the accounting team on special projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is a plus.
