Engineering TechnicianProgrammer

Client is looking for an Engineering Technician to work with the engineering team to model detail and program new projects. They will also release work orders to the production floor as needed. This position works closely with the production staff purchasing team and sales to ensure the utmost quality and efficiency of our product is maintained.

Job Duties

Use of BySoft CAM & Artube to program sheet lasers tube lasers and press brakes.

Use of SolidWorks to create 3D models drawings renderings and layouts.

Run weekly demand reports for production.

Nest materials and create work orders for shop floor.

Enter data into ERP system.

Assist with issues on the shop floor when necessary.

Maintain process and product information by creating/ maintaining CNC programs drawings Bill of Materials build instructions and installation instructions.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and networking with other professional and personal connections.

Contribute to team effort by performing all other duties assigned to benefit the overall goals and success of the company.

Requirements

2 year CAD degree or similar engineering certificate is preferred.

Computer proficiency in data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite.

Experience using CAD and CAM software.

Knowledge and ability to demonstrate Lean Manufacturing principles.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to demonstrate effective Organization Management Skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
