Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer ((IaaS) Azure and AWS Specialist)

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design:

Design and architect scalable highperformance IaaS solutions based on business requirements and best practices.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand infrastructure needs and provide technical expertise.

Infrastructure Provisioning and Automation:

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.

Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components for efficiency and consistency.

Virtualization and Compute Management:

Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) and compute resources on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).

Optimize resource allocation monitor performance and ensure efficient utilization of compute resources.

Networking and Security:

Configure and manage cloud networking components including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) subnets and security groups.

Implement security best practices to safeguard IaaS environments.

Storage Solutions:

Design and implement storage solutions including block storage object storage and file storage.

Optimize storage configurations for performance durability and costeffectiveness.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

Implement IAM policies and roles to manage access control for cloud resources.

Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Implement monitoring solutions for IaaS components to proactively identify and address issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructurerelated incidents in collaboration with support teams.

8. Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with development teams system administrators and other stakeholders.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IaaS architectures configurations and procedures.

9. Cost Management:

Monitor and optimize IaaS costs providing recommendations for costeffective resource provisioning.

Implement tagging strategies and budget controls to manage expenses.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on IaaS.

Strong expertise in AWS and Azure

Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are advantageous.

Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g. Python PowerShell).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent problemsolving communication and collaboration skills
