Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Network Engineer to be an important part of our team. The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for leading the Network Engineering team with IP POP and Data Center commissioning Design and Implementation of network elements in citywide fiber networks and Research and Development of new technologies to enable connected communities. This opportunity sits at the top of our Network Engineering team. The Network Engineering team is responsible for Network design operations and troubleshooting for all IP network infrastructure. The objective of this position is to build a strong network topology to implement and maintain a worldclass fibertothehome Internet Service Provider. To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years of experience in Telecommunications Network Engineering. You will operate in a fastmoving and sometimes ambiguous environment and excel in hitting the Companys objectives. To be successful you will have superior communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a core and distribution network architecture to support a FibertothePremises ISP DWDM and Dark Fiber operation.

Design and implement a distribution network architecture.

Data center commissioning.

Network POP location configuration.

Develop procedures for network equipment software upgrade testing and implementation.

Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of company.
