Title: Technical Writer

Location: Austin TX (Local to State of Texas specifically around Austin Metro Area and surrounding cities thats within 75 miles from the office)

The candidate will need to be in Texas and should be available to be onsite at Winters office in Austin when requested for an onsite work. The position will be hybrid with complete remote possibility.

Candidates must be within the State of Texas specifically around Austin Metro Area and surrounding cities thats within 75 miles from the office. Out of State candidates will not be considered.

Duration: Long term

Role Description:

Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams. Understands the users view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. Provides expertise on technical concepts of applications and /or user groups and structuring procedures in a logical sequence due to a broad understanding of the applications. Writes a variety of technical articles reports brochures and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.

TULIP and WSC user and training guides need to be updated. We need technical writer staff to update these resources promptly to reflect the current functionality and ensure improved customer accessibility. This update will enhance our customer satisfaction and streamline our support processes.

Required Skills:

8 Years of Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.

8 Years of Exceptional skills in creating clear concise and engaging documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences including but not limited to manuals instructions guides and online help content.

8 Years of Exceptional skills in working closely with technical teams to understand product details and features ensuring accurate and relevant documentation.

8 Years of Proven record and exceptional skills in applying innovative content strategies and the latest creative techniques to simplify complex topics for better understanding.

8 Years of Exceptional skills in collaborating with the design team to incorporate visual aids (diagrams videos animations) into documentation for enhanced clarity.

8 Years of Exceptional skills with updating and maintaining existing documents to reflect product updates and changes.

8 Years of Exceptional skills with conducting thorough research and interviews with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy.

8 Years of Exceptional skills to utilize content management tools and adhere to content quality standards.

8 Years of Exceptional ability to participate in user feedback sessions to improve documentation and user experience.

Preferred Skills:

4 Years of Experience authoring documentation in healthcare industry

4 Years of Bachelors degree in Technical writing English communications or a related field.
