Junior Process Engineer- iPRISM

Job Title: iPrism Process Engineer Junior to mid level

Location: Remote

Duration: 36 months

Position Overview: We are seeking a iPrism Engineer to join our team. This role will be assist in ensuring the safety and operability of our factory development projects from the early stages through implementation. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in hazard identification risk assessment and safety management along with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with the team lead.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the gathering and development of requirements to identify potential hazards and operability issues in early factory development stages.
2. Define and communicate factory design safety and hazard prioritization for internal and external engineering teams ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
3. Support the execution of highquality risk assessments and risk management deliverables utilizing methods such as HAZOP WhatIF PHA and other risk assessment techniques.
4. Help facilitate risk assessments and collaborate with consultants/partners as needed to conduct modeling scenarios using tools such as iPRISM.
5. Conduct followthrough reviews and coordination to ensure identified risks and mitigation efforts are incorporated into engineering design processes effectively.
6. Support technical studies including feasibility and value engineering exercises related to safety and risk management contributing insights to enhance project outcomes.
7. Assist in the Hazardous Chemical Management Program as required ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within Architectural/Engineering/Process Engineering firms to identify and implement PSM (Process Safety Management) engineering requirements.
9. Demonstrate a full understanding of core engineering disciplines and effectively manage and facilitate engineering resources to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams within Architectural/Engineering/Process Engineering firms to identify and implement PSM engineering requirements.
• Understanding of core engineering disciplines with demonstrated skills in managing and facilitating engineering resources.
• Experience in designing manufacturing facilities Chemical Process Battery Oil & Gas or Semiconductor industries preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to distill complex problems into clear plans and messages.
• Experience in PHA/HAZOP/WhatIf facilitation or technical evaluation is a plus.
• Knowledge of dispersion analysis flammability analysis consequence modeling combustible dust hazards and reactive hazard analyses & evaluation is a plus.
