Vice President of Group Treasury

Evac Group headquartered in Espoo Finland is a global leader in providing environmentally friendly solutions for waste management wastewater treatment and sustainable marine technologies. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Group Treasury. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our financial resources ensuring optimal cash flow and mitigating financial risks across the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Cash Management:

• Develop cash management processes across Group entities
• Oversee daily cash position and forecasting to ensure efficient utilization of funds.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash balances and minimize idle cash.

2. Liquidity Management:

• Develop and execute liquidity management strategies to meet shortterm and longterm funding requirements.
• Monitor and manage liquidity ratios to ensure compliance with financial policies.

3. Guarantees LCs PCGs:

• Administer and optimize the issuance of guarantees letters of credit (LCs) and performance and payment guarantee instruments.
• Manage and assess the credit risk associated with these instruments.

4. Hedging:

• Develop and implement effective hedging strategies to manage currency interest rate and commodity risks.
• Monitor market conditions and adjust hedging strategies accordingly.

5. Intragroup Financing Loans Interests:

• Oversee intragroup financing activities including loans and interest calculations.
• Optimize the financing structure to minimize costs and maximize returns.

6. Insurances:

• Collaborate with insurance providers to assess and manage risks effectively.
• Review and optimize insurance coverage to align with organizational needs.

7. Treasury Policy:

• Develop and update the groups treasury policies to align with evolving business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

8. Risk Management:

• Identify assess and mitigate financial risks impacting the organization.
• Implement risk management strategies to safeguard the financial wellbeing of Evac Group.

9. Local Bank Relationships:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and international banks.
• Negotiate favourable terms for banking services and facilities.

10. Credit Exposure:

• Monitor and manage credit exposure within established limits.
• Assess and mitigate credit risks associated with customers suppliers and other stakeholders.

11. Owner of Nomentia and ZenTreasury Tools:

• Act as the primary owner and administrator of treasury management tools including Nomentia and ZenTreasury.
• Ensure efficient utilization of these tools to support treasury functions.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Finance Business or a related field; MBA or CTP certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in treasury management preferably in a multinational corporation.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments risk management and treasury best practices.
• Familiarity with treasury management systems particularly Nomentia and ZenTreasury.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
