Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
• Installing and commissioning new electrical systems
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures
• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians on maintenance tasks
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
• Managing spare parts inventory and procurement
• Analyzing equipment performance and recommending improvements
• Training and mentoring junior maintenance staff
• Preparing maintenance reports and documentation
• Participating in emergency response and recovery efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Carrying out liaising work with govt authorities like TSSPDCL & chief of Electrical Inspectorate in coordination with administration.
• Maintaining of electrical equipment including Substation earthing system etc.
• Maintain ISO/ TPM document with respect to utility department
