Dental Technician - Plaster Room

We are recruiting for a Dental Lab Plaster Room Technician on behalf of a busy Birmingham based Dental Laboratory. This is a permanent job offering part time hours so would suit someone with a young family who is looking to go back to work around school or someone who is looking to return to the workplace but not wanting to work full time as such working hours per week are flexible (anything from 15 to 30 hours a week).

The starting point for the job is to take on responsibility as the Plaster Room Technician which will see you:

• Casting impressions.
  

• Trimming plaster models.
  

• Duplicating plaster models.
  

• Labelling plaster models ready for Technicians to take over.
  

Once you have perfected your role in the Plaster Room then you will have the opportunity to widen your knowledge to include:

• Rubber stoning and polishing.
  

• Producing mouth guards and a variety of trays
  

Requirements

To be considered as the Dental Technician Plaster Room you will need:

• A minimum of one years fulltime experience working in a dental lab including casting and trimming models.
