We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join the AK9 Security and FM Solutions team of outstanding personnel.
As a Security Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients premises. You will be responsible for maintaining a vigilant presence monitoring various systems and equipment and promptly responding to any security breaches or emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and operate surveillance systems including alarm systems and other security systems.
- Respond promptly to security incidents emergencies and alarms taking appropriate actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of securityrelated activities and incident reports.
- Enforce access control procedures verifying the identity of individuals and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to maintain a cohesive and secure environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns.
- Stay updated on security protocols and industry best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor card.
- Previous experience in security law enforcement or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and accessing security systems.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand walk and perform patrol duties for extended periods.
