Electrical Design Engineer

Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer with electrical design experience?

Seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with electrical engineering design and layout of systems experience for commercial, industrial, correctional, and parks projects. You will design and model electrical systems in 3 dimensions including power distribution and lighting systems, fire alarm, access control and security. Prepare 2D construction details for electrical system designs including power distribution one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and model lighting systems in photometric software to design general and emergency lighting systems for commercial buildings. Using Autodesk Revit, you will create electrical construction drawings as needed. Attend Job sites and conduct field measurements and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineering licensure (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) a plus or willing to get this licensure.
• 3 -5 years of experience electrical power distribution and lighting systems
• AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit or 3D modeling software experience preferred.
• Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook etc) required.
• Basic understanding of electrical system design.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to work alone or with a team with the ability to meet deadlines.

Salary range: $65-90k DOE
