Employability and Employment Officer

After a significant number of acquisitions, NEP Group is investing further into their central finance function to drive greater transparency across the group, achieve greater synergies across business units and improve the operational, commercial and financial performance of the group as a

• Oversee monthly global closing process and improve process and timeframes
  
• Provide effective financial controls for the entire organization supporting all activities of the Board and the Group
  
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
  
• Comply with GAAP and asset management across all divisions, establishing cost control and reduction
  
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budgets and financial forecasts, institute and maintain other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system) and analyze and report
  
• Furnish internal reports, revise and update reports to be more useful and efficient, and furnish external reports as necessary to management leaders, lenders, Board of Directors, Investors,
  
• Assist in directing annual audit in conjunction with the outside independent
  
• Coordinate the preparation of and review the annual financial
  
• Support due diligence process for mergers and
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent background in financial accounting with strong technical skills, CPA preferred
  
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work under pressure within a highly transformational and fast paced commercial environment
  
• Inquisitive: demonstrates ability to understand the business, customers, and products to maximize revenue/profit generating opportunities
  
• Innovative, can find new solutions to Ability to think laterally
  
• Conscientious, will endeavour to always deliver the companies objectives
  
• Outgoing personality; demonstrates ability to build powerful relationships and influence decision-makers
  
• Background in technology, media or telecom is preferred
  
• Experience in a capex-heavy, global business is preferred
