SoC Design Engineer

Position Name:SoC Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

One or more of the following SoC design tasks for IA (Industrial Automation) MPU products.

• The definition of HW (Hard Ware) function specification: The definition of HW function specification and implementation specification which are required for circuit and package design, based on requirement specification from the IA market.
• IP macro implementation: The selection of proper IP macros for high-speed IF (PCIe, USB3, Gbit Ether, MIPI, etc.) and DDR PHY/MEMC to realize the requirement specification from the IA market, and the IP macro implementation into 1chip and package.
• Function verification and device evaluation: function verification with various EDA tools, and function and characteristic evaluation for 1chip and IP macro with device board.

Qualifications:

The following one or more experiences are required;

• The definition of HW function specification for MPU
• The development of SoC product that contains High speed I/F or DDR PHY/MEMC
• The function and characteristic evaluation of the device board

Preferred Qualifications:

• RTL design and/or verification
• FPGA and/or device evaluation board development
• IP macro development

Language Skills:

• Japanese:business level
• English: daily conversation level (TOEIC score around 600)
