Job Responsibilities
Work closely with data science leaders, data scientists, software developers and business SMEs to deliver
end-to-end data science solutions
Responsible for completion of business user requirements gathering, use case development,
documentation of user requirements and business process re-engineering/automation
Work cross-functionally, both horizontally and vertically, to identify requirements and potential KPIs and
ROI
Determining the impacts of possible changes to Gilead systems and business processes and implementing
business process solutions to support business requirements
Act as a consulting resource for data architecture, data model creation, and data analysis for analytical
operations, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, etc
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and proficiency across multiple practices within pharmaceutical
development and manufacturing departments, to understand, coordinate and communicate competing
demands
Present interpretation and insight to data science team, business stakeholders and PDM management
Creates and maintains a positive working environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement
and performance.
Effectively communicates with business stakeholders, system managers and data science team to speed-
up the project execution
Good organizational and time management skills, including working knowledge of basic project
management tools and techniques
In-depth understanding and application of relevant principles, concepts, practices, and standards, along
with an in-depth knowledge of industry practices and regulations
Education & Experience
5+ years relevant experience in related field
Bachelor or Master degree
Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable.
Experience in business operations, manufacturing, management consulting and/or other related fields
