EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience working in the NATO Software Factory (NSF) or other industrial equivalent cloud implementations such as AWS or Azure
  
• Strong knowledge and practical experience (a minimum of 12 months in the last 24 months) with:
  Software Architecting
  Agile software development in C/C++/C#, Java
  Test automation
  Docker containers
  Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  CI/CD tools such as:
  o Jenkins
  o SonarQube
  o WeaveScope
  o Ansible
  o Terraform
  o Junit or Nunit
  o Selenium
  o MS Visio
  Infrastructure as code (IaaC). Ansible and Terraform
  
• Knowledge of modern software development methodologies (e.g. Software development life cycles, Agile methodologies), a certification in the field of agile software development is a plus
  
• General knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and data management concepts, well experienced with XML, XSD and XPATH
  
• Significant experience in one of the following TOGAF, NAF or DODAF
  
• Familiar with including DNS, domains, PKI certificates, network designs
  
• Have the nationality of one of the NATO nations
  

• Will undergo activities related to the MS Azure NATO cloud. Including, but not limited to: architecting, development, security, improvement of development and testing pipelines, refinement and documentation of processes
  
• Will also collaborate with different teams within NCI Agency in order to develop activities conducting to the harmonization of different technologies
  
• A maximum of 2 x 1 week travel within the EU. Likely Italy and Netherlands
