QA Automation Engineer (Temporary Position)

We sell to industries with large consumer-facing businesses such as: banking financial services insurance fintech gaming ecommerce/retail telco / media utilities etc.

About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join us for a temporary 6-month position.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in QA automation Web applications or software development who enjoys working in a fast-paced and highly technical environment.

You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of modern Web-based products working closely with developers QA engineers and cross-functional teams.

What youll do:

• Design write and maintain automated tests for Web applications
• Test and validate product functionality in Web environments
• Investigate document and track bugs and issues
• Work with client-server architectures and understand browser behavior
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve product quality
• Work with task management and testing systems to support QA processes
• Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing efficiency

What youll need:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following:
  • QA Automation Engineer
  • QA Engineer with automation experience
  • Developer with experience in Web applications
• Experience working with Web applications in testing automation development or support
• Understanding of client-server architecture browser behavior and Web fundamentals
• Experience writing or maintaining automated tests
• Experience testing functionality in Web environments
• Ability to work with bugs technical documentation and task management systems

Advantage:

• Experience with Web UI test automation
• Knowledge of API testing
• Basic understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Playwright Selenium Cypress or similar tools
• Experience with Jira Zephyr TestRail or similar systems
