Middle East Co. (MEC) was established in 1996 for supplying Radiation Detection Instruments besides Radiation Protection Material to the Medical & Industrial Sectors of our local market. Shortly after, MEC started supplying Ir-192 Sources & Gamma Projectors to the local market since 2001 and became more familiar with Industrial Radiography and its requirements; adding further Portable & Stationary X-ray Systems to our Radiography Testing Products range besides Darkroom instruments and accessories. We further extended and maintained our business through offering more products related to other conventional Non Destructive Testing methods i.e. (PT, MT, UT, and ET) and even adding innovative products utilizing Advanced Inspection Technologies such as ToFD & Phased Array besides Computed Radiography. MEC also supplies other products such as XRF Spectrometers and Heat Treatment systems to our same network of customers. Keeping our focus on Non Destructive Testing has always helped us to be more specialized than our competitors to fulfill the QC requirements of our customers whatever the testing method they implement for their welding inspection applications. We are also specialized in supplying Gas detection instruments, Radiation monitoring instruments, besides Sound level meters and Personal protection equipment to the HSE sectors of our same network of customers We have been able to build a good customers base that have great trust in the quality of our products besides our after sales service and technical support. That includes customers related to the Oil & Gas Sector, Steel Industries, Military Factories, Shipyards, Chemical Sector, besides Inspection and Construction companies. We believe in updating our knowledge and training our sales team to be more effective in assisting our customers and offering them the best inspection solutions for their applications.
