Use 3D modelling scanning and additive manufacturing to support oil and gas maintenance. Employ Global is seeking a 3D Printer Graphic Designer for a potential Angola assignment based in Luanda with occasional offshore visits.

The opportunity

Support the preparation and delivery of oil and gas maintenance activities working with technical teams and offshore colleagues. These opportunities form part of an Angolan national recruitment programme. We encourage suitably qualified Angolan professionals to register their interest.

Your responsibilities

• Develop 3D printing activities for polymer and metal additive manufacturing and design spare parts using FreeCAD SolidWorks and CATIA.
• Scan damaged or worn parts and prepare models and print files for suitable equipment including Bambu Lab Prusa Ultimaker and Fabricate systems.
• Manage printers furnaces and printing equipment including maintenance repair preservation and material inventory.
• Prepare and improve 3D printing requests and workflows maintain print records and report activity.
• Train and support local Angolan engineers monitor safety and printing performance and coordinate with offshore teams contractors and educational institutions.

What you will bring

• DUT BTS or an equivalent engineering degree in mechanical instrumentation or electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in oil and gas and maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance methods including machine monitoring maintenance management systems such as SAP and inventory management.
• Operational English; French and Portuguese would be an advantage.
• An organised methodical approach to technical problem solving planning and equipment operation.

Assignment details

Location: Luanda Angola with occasional offshore visits. These are expressions of interest for a potential assignment subject to contract award and final client approval. Employment terms remuneration start dates and mobilisation arrangements will be confirmed during recruitment. Any role-specific competency work authorisation and safety requirements will be explained before appointment.
