Reporting to the Merchandise Manager youll play a key role in building strong customer relationships. Supporting a diverse customer base - including local farmers primary producers and trade clients youll deliver a memorable experience both in store and over the phone while:
- Providing friendly and professional service to all clients and suppliers
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control ordering receipting and dispatching of goods
- Maintaining safety processes
- Assisting with merchandise campaign material
- Maintaining a welcoming friendly and well-presented store environment
- Loading and unloading trucks dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries
Youre someone who brings a strong customer service focus excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to get the job done. You also have a genuine passion for Australian farming and agriculture ideally supported by knowledge of animal health and rural addition you will demonstrate:
- Experience working within a customer services/sales environment
- Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
