Social Project Manager / 소셜 프로젝트 관리자

EcoLinks is a one-stop platform solution for renewable energy project financing, construction, operation and maintenance. We are developing a platform to solve the main obstacles to the adoption of solar power solutions in developing countries. We intend to alleviate the high initial investment costs through monthly repayment schemes and finance/refinance solar installations through crowdfunding campaigns. Our business creates great social and environmental impact and ensures that SMEs, hospitals and schools in developing countries which are currently suffering from an unstable electricity supply, receive clean and stable electricity at the best cost possible. We are looking for young talents interested in addressing energy poverty in developing countries and contributing to the global energy transition & sustainable development goals. We are an enthusiastic and global team based in Korea and Cameroon, have a strong understanding of the Cameroonian and Latin American energy markets, experience in the renewable energy business, and great passion for solving the problem of energy poverty in developing countries.

Tasks

• Manage social crowdfunding projects
• Develop storyline for crowdfunding campaigns and manage communications with crowdfunding platform companies. (We are currently preparing a crowdfunding campaign to be launched in early September on a Korean social crowdfunding platform)
• Manage communications with interested investors/donors.
• Build relationships with other crowdfunding platforms and initiate crowdfund projects
• Initiate & manage other social projects supported by foundations or CSR departments Creatively initiate social projects in line with EcoLinks vision and establish relationships with local/ international foundations or CSR departments to support the execution of these projects.
  (We are currently looking into using old or off-grade solar panels to provide free solar energy to people in rural communities who can t afford to pay for new solar installations)
• Participate in investment attraction or PR activities using marketing and presentation skills
• Have fun! Enjoy working with an international team and learning more about social entrepreneurship.

Requirements

• Open to learning and discovering new things
• Passionate and has a sense of responsibility for his/ her duties.
• Interested in solving social problems such as climate change or energy poverty
• Fluent Korean and an average level of English
• Project management experience (school projects are also acceptable!)
• Experience in renewable energy projects or environment-related activities
