Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiasticScrum Masterto join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will assist in facilitating Scrum practices and support the team in delivering high-quality products. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in Agile methodologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum Events:Organize and facilitate key Scrum events including Team Syncs Sprint Planning Retrospectives and Reviews.
- Support Team Dynamics:Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration communication and continuous improvement.
- Remove Impediments:Work with the team to identify and address roadblocks that may hinder progress ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Coach Team Members:Educate team members on Scrum principles and practices encouraging self-organization and accountability.
- Manage Backlogs:Assist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the Team Backlog ensuring clarity and alignment on user stories and tasks.
- Track Metrics:Help track team performance metrics such as velocity and burndown charts to facilitate discussions on improvement.
- Promote Agile Practices:Advocate for Agile methodologies and support the team in adopting best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:Experience in an Agile environment preferably as a Scrum Master.
- Certifications:Scrum Master certification (CSM PSM or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
- Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and drive consensus.
- Basic understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. Jira Trello) is a plus.
