A Mason is responsible for performing masonry repairs and installations throughout the property including guest areas exterior walkways walls tiling and other structures. The role involves maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of the hotel/resort in line with safety and brand standards and deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

What will I be doing

As a Mason you are responsible performing masonry repairs and installations throughout the property including guest areas exterior walkways walls tiling and other structures. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Carry out routine masonry repairs across the property including walkways tiled areas walls and decorative stonework.

• Perform preventative maintenance checks to identify structural or surface damage.

• Repair cracked or broken concrete bricks tiles and stones in guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces.

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Housekeeping etc.. to respond promptly to guest-related maintenance issues.

• Mix and apply mortar grout and concrete as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.

• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area and tools.

• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
