Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Development and Strategy- Develop the sales team and yearly sales plan aligned with the companys strategy for various market sectors.
- Achieve yearly targets maximize margins and meet company objectives.
- Maintain and develop relationships with assigned key accounts.
- Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve budgets and company objectives.
Market Development
- Drive sales growth across various market sectors.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of client and market requirements in line with company objectives.
- Increase market share and identify opportunities to exploit new markets.
Budget and Targets
- Monitor and update sales achievements versus budgets monthly.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders with all necessary documentation.
- Negotiate control and award projects to align with set targets.
Customer Service
- Enhance customer interaction satisfaction and retention by improving standards facilities and technical expertise.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
- Develop new key accounts across different market sectors.
Accounts Management
- Collaborate with the Credit Controller to ensure timely payment of accounts.
Teamwork and Employee Excellence
- Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting recruiting and retaining top talent.
- Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee engagement and team effectiveness.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals providing feedback on strengths areas for improvement and development opportunities.
- Establish KPIs for individual units ensuring alignment withmission and vision.
- Identify key positions and implement succession plans for target staff.
Qualifications Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
- Masters Degree in Business Administration is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- 1315 years of experience in a similar pipe industry.
- 7 years of experience in Sales Management.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong technical and product knowledge.
- Understanding of contractual conditions payment terms and implications.
- Awareness of market trends and competitive activities.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer challenges.
- Proficiency in database management software tools (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) and CRM systems.
- Effective time management skills.
