Automation Analyst (Cortex Cloud)

Your Career

Palo Alto Networks Cortex Quality group is looking for an Automation Analyst for our Tel Aviv R&D center. The Automation Analyst will be responsible for running automation tests on a daily basis analyzing a massive number of automated tests results and providing a clear status of the results. This role requires high analysis skills and deep familiarity with the product main flows and the automation tests (written with Python).

In this role the Automation Analyst will work closely with several interfaces in the R & D groups such as the dev teams Manual QA teams Automation Infra etc.

Our product is advanced endpoint security software - identifying an attackers techniques before any malicious activity could successfully run which enables us to prevent many types of cyber-attacks including zero-day attacks.

Your Impact

As a Automation Analyst at Palo Alto Networks you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they reach our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting functional regression testing of a large number of tests requiring a deep understanding of the product and its expected behavior as well as a comprehensive understanding of the automation tests to effectively manage and interpret the extensive test suite
• Deep analysis and bug reporting while working closely with dev teams
• Running and maintaining automated tests on a daily basis
• Analyzing a massive number of automated test results across various platforms including Mac Linux Windows and different cloud vendors
• Conducting new cross-product and infrastructure projects
• Providing tools and innovative ideas to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities using cutting-edge technologies such as BigQuery and in-house developed systems
• Taking responsibility for production releases serving as the final checkpoint before products are released to clients

Qualifications :

Your Experience 

• Experience in QA / IT System / TechSupport role from a tech company
• Experience with analysis of complex software technology flows
• Python knowledge
• Understanding of cloud providers (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) - an advantage
• Ability to work in an orderly manner and provide clear status updates
• Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of responsibility and accountability
