Area of Contribution:

The role may include the following tasks

and functions/ duties and responsibilities but are not limited to:

Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo from vessels and vehicles.

Perform lashing unlashing and securing of containers vehicles or breakbulk

cargo.

Operate basic tools and equipment for cargo handling under supervision.

Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned work areas including vessel decks

and terminal yards.

Support stevedores and equipment operators with docking staging and

cargo movement tasks.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective

equipment (PPE).

Report unsafe conditions damaged cargo or incidents to supervisors

immediately.

Cooperate with customs and security procedures during cargo inspections

Requirements

Strong work ethic and

procedures.

the ability to work under

pressure.

Adaptability to changing

work environments and job

duties.

Basic knowledge of port

operations and cargo types
