Duties and responsibilities:
Travel to different regions to calibrate biomedical equipment in accordance with quality standards.
Install maintain calibrate and repair complex biomedical equipment across multiple locations.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of clinical equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and technical staff to address equipment-related issues and provide technical support.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance repairs and calibration activities.
Stay updated on industry advancements regulations and best practices related to biomedical engineering.
Install adjust maintain repair or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
Evaluate the safety efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of biomedical equipment
Qualifications :
- Qualification in Biomedical engineering/technology
- Certified as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school or Diploma or associate degree in biomedical engineering or biomedical technology.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience in multi-modality hospital-based employment. Especially ICU equipment.
- OEM training on hospital equipment.
