Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia for their supermarket division. Our client is looking for a Demand Planner who will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability efficient inventory management and accurate sales forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and improve demand forecasts across all supermarket product categories using statistical models historical sales data and market insights.
- Collaborate with category managers supply chain and sales teams to align demand plans with business objectives and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales trends seasonal demand patterns and market dynamics to adjust forecasts and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Ensure accurate inventory planning and replenishment strategies to achieve targeted service levels and minimize waste.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Track forecast accuracy analyze variances and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management on demand trends forecast accuracy and inventory status.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field (Master s degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in demand planning preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand planning tools ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of supermarket operations product assortment and local market trends in KSA is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
