This Position reports to:
Distribution Solutions Business Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area. Each day you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading developing and coaching the Marketing and Sales function through.
- Creating planning and implementing the marketing and sales mission vision and strategy along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area.
- Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence execution standards and delivery model).
- Overseeing the assigned teams that identify monitor and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
- Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g. volume prices portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- A solid understanding of engineering principles and products is essential. which usually means having a degree in engineering or significant experience in the engineering sector.
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing roles ideally within technical or B2B industries.
- The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences deliver compelling presentations and negotiate with clients and stakeholders.
- Skills in market research competitor analysis and developing marketing strategies tailored to the engineering sector.
- Experience in leading and motivating sales and marketing teams setting targets and ensuring collaboration between departments to achieve business goals.
