General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Reviewing the electrical plans provided and specifications according to local and international codes and standards and international best practices.
Reviewing electrical shop drawings submitted and material submissions against approved drawings and specifications local laws legal requirements and international best practices.
Ensuring that the design consultant complies with all Hill International and the Tunnel Authoritys internal processes and procedures.
Providing technical support during the construction period and reviewing the plans as built (As Built)
Patriciate in value engineering procedures.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Fluent English and Arabic
Minimum of 13 years of experience in comprehensive mega projects Job role includes taking overall responsibility for Electrical Engineer on mega projects.
10 years of handson experience in designing developing testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
Proven track record of successfully completing diverse electrical projects ranging from smallscale residential installations to largescale industrial systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
Experience in collaborating with other engineering disciplines such as mechanical civil and software engineering.
Indepth understanding of electrical circuit theory electromagnetism electronics and control systems.
Familiarity with electrical codes and standards such as NEC IEC and IEEE.

Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and hazard mitigation techniques.
Understanding of power system analysis including load flow short circuit and stability studies.
Familiarity with electrical equipment and instrumentation such as oscilloscopes multimeters and spectrum analyzer
