We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team in Alexandria Egypt. In this role you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects ensuring costeffectiveness and adherence to budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyse costs value and risks associated with tenders and contracts
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials time and labour costs
- Prepare bills of quantities and other tender documents
- Manage analyse and report on commercial and contractual aspects throughout the project lifecycle
- Negotiate and agree on interim valuations claims and final accounts
- Advise on procurement strategy and contractual procedures
- Allocate work to subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts
- Identify analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
- Provide cost advice and forecasting throughout the construction process
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations and standards
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering
- Rail projects experience is a must
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Strong contract administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
