We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Doha Qatar. As a Mason you will be responsible for performing various masonry tasks including the construction maintenance and repair of structures using materials such as brick stone and concrete. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our projects while adhering to safety standards and client specifications.
- Construct repair and maintain walls floors and other structures using various masonry materials
- Perform repairs to wall plaster renderings and tile work in both interior and exterior building areas
- Erect new walls and demolish existing ones as required
- Conduct grouting and maintain marble surfaces
- Follow and implement safe work practices and procedures at all times
- Ensure environmentally friendly practices when handling materials and chemicals
- Complete work orders efficiently and document activities in the project log
- Collaborate with team members and participate in project meetings
- Respond promptly to work requests especially those concerning health and safety
- Assist in evaluating equipment usage and maintaining equipment inventories
- Address client requests professionally and courteously
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; related technical or trades certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mason or civil technician
- Proficiency in all aspects of masonry construction refurbishment and maintenance
- Ability to use general repair tools and read shop drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of building operations and other construction skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including hot climates
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality workmanship
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Customerfocused attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and emergency situations
