We leverage realtime data machine learning and automation to optimize debt recovery for financial institutions. As we expand across the UAE and KSA we are seeking a Data Engineer to build and scale our data infrastructure ensuring seamless data flow highperformance analytics and AIdriven decisionmaking.
Role Overview
The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our data pipelines integrating AI models and enabling advanced analytics. You will work with highvelocity financial data ensuring efficient storage transformation and realtime processing. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of largescale data engineering AI and cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Architecture: Design build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that handle realtime and batch processing of largescale financial data.
- AIDriven Data Processing: Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Cloud & Big Data Technologies: Optimize data storage and retrieval across cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure using tools like Snowflake BigQuery or Redshift.
- Streaming & RealTime Analytics: Implement streaming data architectures using Apache Kafka Apache Flink or Spark Streaming for instant insights and decisionmaking.
- Data Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with SAMA UAE Central Bank and global data security standards implementing encryption anonymization and access control policies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform CloudFormation or Kubernetes.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance data ingestion transformation and retrieval processes to maintain subsecond query performance.
- Data Quality & Governance: Develop monitoring anomaly detection and data validation frameworks to ensure high data integrity.
- Collaboration: Work crossfunctionally with engineering product and compliance teams to drive datafirst decisionmaking.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years in data engineering big data or cloud data architecture.
- Tech Stack: Expertise in Python Scala or Java for data processing and SQL for complex querying.
- Big Data & Streaming: Handson experience with Apache Spark Kafka Flink or similar frameworks.
- Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS (S3 Glue Lambda Redshift) GCP (BigQuery Dataflow) or Azure (Synapse Databricks).
- Database Skills: Strong experience with both relational (PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB DynamoDB) databases.
- AI & ML Integration: Experience working with ML models in production is a plus.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of financial data security practices GDPR and regulatory compliance in fintech.
- Automation & DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes for data infrastructure.
- Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Engineering or a related field.
